Rammstein asked NI to make a emulator patch for Guitar Rig 5 called Rammfire, so anyone with a guitar, PC, and this programme may sound like Rammstein. It's quite fun to play with distortion, reverb, chorus, etc.

The reason for this is the lead guitarist didn't want to drag his amp and other equipment around everywhere to work on new sounds. Now he just takes his laptop with him. The price if you want to purchase the pack is $50, and I have no idea what the price of GR5 is.

It's not to sell anything, just something cool about Rammstein.

I don't think Rammfire is new. To the best of my knowledge, it has been out for quite some time.

It has been out for a while. Looks like a nice program and very user friendly. I hope to purchase it once I have a laptop :)

I own this. It's pretty good, but nothing beats a good old Tube amp

@ReiseReise - Nothing will ever beat analogue sound. Digital just cannot compare.
I work at a hearing clinic so I see the difference all the time :)

^ Some digital amps sound very good for clean sounds, I own a orange stack and it just has that classic brittish crunch

Rammfire isn't new. I realise that.

There is a new Amp profiler from a company called Kemper and some people on Youtube who own a guitar store couldn't tell the difference between a valve amp, and the Kemper. It's a bit pricey at $3k, but it will allow you to play any amp that you can sample the sound.

^Richard swapped his Boogies on the last tour and used Kempers instead.

Toll!

I was thinking about buying either a Mesa, or Marshall amp, but now that I know this, I think I'll save for a little longer and buy a Kemper.
