I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas!
Life goes on as usual in Berlin.
I haven't even turned on the computer in a few days... there is no time to sit down at my desk.
I had calm and lovely Christmas. I spent Christmas eve with our best friends in Berlin, had a simple dinner together and listened to a Christmas record with Die Toten Hosen.
Then we went to the cabaret together and watched my friend who is a singer.
Spent a lot of time at Church and got to meet the Archbishop. He just came over and said hi and wished me a happy Christmas.
I have so many bad memories of Christmas, it's nice to get some new happy ones.
Two days before Christmas my friend and I went and got far too drunk, stayed out until the morning, got lost in Prenzlauer Berg and I left my scarf in the bar (I got it back, but it smells like an ashtray now
). I don't like getting drunk and my friend had to work the next day, I guess we should have known better but... who cares.
We had fun anyway.
Today Richard Kruspe and his family where sitting 2 tables away from us at a restaurant. Richard discovered the
pin on my husbands collar and came over and pointed at it.
My husband just said "Hi, Richard." We didn't talk more, we just said hi. It's kind of funny how it's become totally normal to run into your favourite rockstars all the time.
When we left, Richard and Margaux were outside and my husband said "Happy Chanukka!" to them. They both smiled, waved at us and wished us the same thing.
Random Rammstein things in Berlin.
A friend of mine will get Till to sign his books for me. I am quite overjoyed.
He said I could be there as well, but I think I'll just let him deal with it it.
I've been really tired lately and dealing with pain. I have arthritis and it's really bad at the moment. I think it's because of the weather, stress and not enough sleep. I think it will get better.
Also thinking how I don't look forward to New Years eve at all.
I don't like it.
Take care over the holidays all of you! I wish you all a very happy new year!
