^ I hope you had a great time! :bounce:

***

I'm about to go out for a walk and inspect the damage in Berlin. See which streets can be walked on and if some parts up here are still flooded.

I hope there is no water damage in our church either. It started raining in last night during mass. :um:

We're just done booking our vacation and travelling. :bounce: :yay: I've looked forward to this for a long time.

1st of August we take the train to Pfalz, near the French border. We stay one night at a cloister in the tiny village Esthal and the next evening we go to the fairly big and well known town Neustadt and stay there six nights. This area is known as Deutsche Weinstrasse, one of the biggest and most famous wine regions in Germany. We will walk through the forests, visit old ruins, walk around among all the very old traditional houses, eat the local food which is very different from Berlin, go see where the tobacco grows, visit vineyards and try lots of great wine. :cham2:

Now I'm going to go and book a haircut. I'm getting rid of the red and will change the cut slightly.

^sounds like u have a great trip planned out :D

I'm getting ready for work. It's easy to tell that Denmark is on holiday. There isn't all that much run on the webshop as we're used to. But that leaves time to do stuff that takes concentration

Kind of not looking forward to going to work... :sped: yesterday was chaos and I was almost assaulted by a drug addict/mentally ill person. Then there is a horrible woman there all of a sudden who thinks a young slut like me has no business there and she does not at all believe I work in the church. In the late evening I was harassed by two drunk tattooed thugs. And the lights in the church are broken so you can't find anything when I have to work. I was kind of not happy yesterday.

@Kirse: it will be great. It's actually our friend Arnaud's village we are visiting and the places where he grew up. He loves telling us about it, but he was absolutely no help when trying to plan the trip. :rolling:
And I'm really interested in wine from Pfalz as well. The whole province is a really interesting (and extremely Catholic) place. They usually have crucifixes and statues of saints all over town, crucifixes and signs with quotes from the bible watching over the vineyards.
