I got this last time I flew to Berlin. My husband bought it for me and I thought it was sweet. ^_^

They sell them on the airplane and you can ask for them when they serve you coffee during the flight. It's a small metal box with 5 chocolate hearts inside, costs 4 euros. Airberlin always gives you a chocolate heart when you step off the airplane and I love their chocolate, so my husband got me some more of them. :D I'm saving the little box. And I like airberlin too, because it's Berlin and it's a really good airline. I fly with them every time I fly between Stockholm and Berlin.

^ Sweet ! I guess it makes reference to the song :D

Das ist die Berliner Luft, Luft, Luft,
so mit ihrem holden Duft, Duft, Duft,
wo nur selten was verpufft, pufft, pufft,
in dem Duft, Duft, Duft,
dieser Luft, Luft, Luft.
Das macht die Berliner Luft!

Some more cool German stuff I have at home.

I bought this East-German globe a little while ago. It's the Swedish edition but printed and made in Leipzig DDR 1960. I love older globes and old maps.

Uhm... that little drum kit at the base was not there from the beginning. :rolling:

This I have had in my flat for a long time and I didn't even think of it. A wood carving of the Aachen town square, cathedral and town hall. My friend in Aachen have it to me and my husband as a Christmas gift. :) I lived in Aachen a few weeks and I really like that town.

A cook book with Berlinian food that my friends in Berlin gave me on my birthday last year. ^_^ This is a lot of food that I recognise and grew up with and I would love to cook it for my friends in Berlin as well.

This is not typically German or anything, but a gift I got in Berlin. I celebrated my birthday at café Anna Blume in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin and they set a beautiful table for us with white tablecloths, rose petals, candles, a red rose and the staff is so friendly. When we were leaving the staff gave me this little ceramic heart. I thought that was so sweet.

Since I was just putting a fresh flower in this, I thought I´d show it here :D
I bought this vase at the big Sunday market at Mauermarkt; Berlin (https://www.berlin.de/en/shopping/markets-and-flea-markets/1998222-2983302-flea-market-at-mauerpark.en.html

It's from Ilmenau Kunstporzellan DDR and has clovers on it. I love it, because its so simple and doesn't outshine whatever flowers you put in it :bounce:
