okay i didn't know where else to post this so i thought here was the right place, but you can move it if you want. i'm thinking of taking a gap year, between school and university and studying for a TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) course, and then teaching in Germany, and i was thinking it may be handy to know/update my almost non-existence grasp on the language. sooooo i was wondering if you guys know of any website that would be useful, or if you have any advice or guidance in learning german, let me know. also if anyone has done a course like this then your experience would be greatly appreciated, as would any other help!

Did you look through the Online German Resources thread? :)
Those are all the sites we use or have used or try to use ;)

I've never heard of such a course, but what a fun idea! Maybe someone else here has taken it and will have some good advice. Do you know where in Germany you would be sent to teach?

^ thanks. i have looked and found some pretty interesting stuff.
at the moment, i don't know where i would be sent, i think you just take the course and then they post you to a country that you want to go to. i have seen placements in munich and berlin though *fingers crossed for berlin*. but its not just germany you can teach almost anywhere that wants to learn english but i thought germany might be interesting with the history, and architecture...........and rammstein
