I've been slowly reading Hunted Past Reason by Richard Matheson when I can squeeze reading time in.

Got three pages left of the last one (so far) in Jo Nesbo's Harry Hole series. So many twists it makes you feel drunk.

Stephen King's Mr Mercedes. He used to be an exciting author, but his latest makes me wonder whether the book was really written by The Master or simply crafted by an apprentice :P Once upon a time, reading Stephen King used to be "mehr!" after every chapter, now it's more like "meh" :um: :spider:

^ Aw, that's really disappointing. :(

Currently reading a book about women who fought in the U.S. Civil War: "They Fought Like Demons - Women Soldiers in the Civil War" by Deanne Blanton and Lauren M. Cook.

Prior to picking up this book, I had NO idea that some brave women actually passed themselves off as soldiers and went into battle. Not something one would find in a regular history textbook!

I've been having a terrible reading year. Usually I do about 80 or so books a year... so far this year I've only made it through like, 12 I think. And only a couple of them even impressed me. Thinking about starting the first book in the Song of Ice and Fire series, by George RR Martin... Game of Thrones . It's kind of sitting on my shelf, staring me down and intimidating me with it's chunkiness and tiny print... :-)

Finished "Working Stiff" by Judy Melinek. She is a forensic pathologist who did a stint at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Manhattan during the time of the 9/11 attacks. I could not put it down and will most likely read it again.

Have also just finished Vital Signs and am starting on Blindsight by Robin Cook
