I liked Girl With a Pearl Earring :)
I finished Cuckoo's Calling and I really liked it a whole lot!
Now I'm reading The Hunger Games, the first book. Have never read it or seen the movies, so finally broke down and decided to try it. It's pretty interesting so far, I'm sure I'm going to like it. ^_^

I'm reading The Catcher In The Rye. For the fourth time. Don't get me wrong, it's a good book, but I have NEVER FINISHED IT. Perhaps this time I will. It just.... Drags on.

^ I'm not sure but I think it's Daniel Pennac who said it's a sacred right of the reader, not to finish a book ;)

I also read very slowly and have the bad habit of reading two or three books at the same time, according to my mood.

Now I'm on an essay on "emotional intelligence" by John Gottman, italian translation. Very interesting and useful

I've been reading Dexter and Philosophy: Mind Over Spatter. Its a collection of essays about the fictional character from different philosophical points of view. Very good read!

I'm re-reading a novel written by a friend, "Rosso quadrato" (Red square). I feel odd because my friend asked me to read it years ago and now my name is among the acknowledgments  It's a detective story, but the crime is mostly an excuse to talk about contemporary forms of exploitation in the labour market.

I'm also reading Tocqueville and Gobineau's correspondence about democracy and racism. I enjoy it because they are private letters, so the philosophical issues are made simpler to understand.

I've started The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield. So far it's interesting.
