Hello,

For a great Finnish industrial metal band (often nicknamed "The finnish Rammstein" -- and NO they DO NOT copy Ramms+ein, unlike what some morons say), search "Ruoska".

Recommended songs (findable on youtube):

Alasin (Eng.: Anvil)
Helvettiin jäätynyt (Eng.: Frozen in hell)
Pirunkieli (Eng.: The devil's tongue)
Mies yli laidan (Eng.: Man over board)
Järvet jäihin jää (Eng.: The lakes remain frozen)

Also, for more info, you can jsut search "Ruoska" on en.wikipedia.org

Hope you like it ;)

I think Ruoska are good but I think the more I listen to them, the less similar they seem to Rammstein. ;) But I definitely agree that they appeal to a similar audience. :D

I still need to get their latest album..... it's been out for months now, but there are soooooo many excellent Finnish and German bands out there, it is taking me time to fill in the gaps in my collection. ;) I generally alternate months -- June was new Finnish music, July will be German. (lots of stuff coming out in August tho, I might end up cheating and going German two months in a row...)

I've never really liked them... Though that's just the Finn in me speaking, most likely. :P When they played in my sweet little home town some years ago at a festival, they had rented a little cottage to spend the night in. My friend's mum (who lives right next to the cottage) had gone there with a frigging baseball bat and ordered them to keep the noise down. XD And they sure as hell obliged, too. You don't mess with a tired Finnish lady, lemme tell ya that much.

They're alright, but I'm still kind of on the fence regarding how I feel about them.

I dont like Ruoska. I dont see any kind of sense on their lyrics.
There is lot better finnsh industrial metal bands like Turmion Kätilöt:
Verta ja Lihaa (blood and flech)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ndhr_5QMY-A
Kirosana (swearword)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brgMFmFw ... re=related

Before becoming Ruoska, members of it were played in band named Natsipaska (nazishit), what was punk band.
But then they started make music like R+ do.

Ruoska, i hate. Sorry. But i can't understand how's that can be "Finnish Rammstein"...? I don't think so.
Rammstein is Rammstein and Ruoska is Ruoska i would not compare them with two in any way.
Thank you.
